ALTERNATIVE TO JAMB MATRICULATION LIST

While JAMB Matriculation List contains names of students newly admitted, CAPS is another jamb’s portal for students to accept or reject admission offer by their tertiary institution.

Students should know that it’s important there names appear on the JAMB Matriculation list, this is the only way they can confirm that they have truly been offered admission and they are are true student of the tertiary institution.

It also means the admission offered is recognized by JAMB, this is necessary because their are many polytechnics and colleges offer candidates admission into OND and NCE programmes that does not reflect on JAMB’s portal. Such candidates may have problems in future.

JAMB detected issues like this and introduce CAPS and also registration for NYSC with jamb registration number, this happened when Pre-degree students of universities were offered admission into university without jamb registration or not passing jamb exams.
