Candidates are to note that delisting was done as a result of over poor performance for example bad network, inadequate power supply, and series of complaints from the students on the first day of examination.

WHY JAMB DELISTS CBT CENTRES

It was reported that very many students on Saturday 19th of June 2021 faced a lot of difficulties in writing their examination, while most of the CBT centres were able to get the issues resolved some of them could not resolve it and this led to the inability of the students to write the examination on the said date, because of this disappointment, the leadership of the joint admissions and matriculation board (jamb) through her spokesperson Dr Fabian Benjamin announce the delisting of the affected CBT centres.

While addressing journalist’s Dr Fabian Benjamin asked the candidates affected to start reprinting, their slips as from Sunday June 20, 2021.

On 22nd of June 2021, the joint admissions and matriculation board (jamb) delisted additional 6 CBT centres over poor performance examination which was a Monday 21st June 2021, affected candidates are also not to panic as the same instruction given to affected candidates on Saturday is also give them which is that they should proceed to reprinting of their slip.

Allschoolsinfo advise students who are writing the unified tertiary matriculation examination and also facing difficulties or have faced difficulties in their examination that they should not keep mute of whatever it is that have happened in their centres in terms of irregularities, such candidates are to proceed in complaining to the board by writing an email  to support@jamb.org.ng, visit the States office of jamb or open a support ticket on the jamb website, you can use the comment box to ask us for guideline on how to do that.

Candidates are required to take their printed jamb slips with them while you going to their respective CBT centres, we also advise all candidates to visit their CBT centres a day before their examination so as to get them acquainted with their examination venues and also to ascertain their ways to the centres.

From past experiences, we have seen students running helter-skelter on their day of the examination as a result of their inability to locate their examination centres. Some get the wrong address some mistake their bus stop for another take for example someone living in Shagamu and having Ajegunle in Lagos as his centre but mistake it for Ajegunle of Shagamu, definitely will sweat profusely on the day of exam as a result of wrong examination venue.

Candidates are to note that the jamb slip is totally different from the one given to them after their successful registration for the unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME), apart from printing the jamb slip from the  board’s portal, the jamb slip is also sent to all candidates to their registered email, and that is why we have always advise candidates to always ensure the use a valid email address while registering  for their examination.

However, we do not know maybe the jamb slip will be re-sent to candidates who were unable to write the exams at the initial date but in case you did not receive the new slip in your email, then you are to proceed to the board’s portal for your reprinting.
