Obafemi Awolowo University OAU Post UTME 2020 Screening Form for 2020/2021 Admission





The management of Obafemi Awolowo University has announced the commencement of registration for OAU post utme 2020 for 2020/2021 academic session. Candidates who meet up with the JAMB cut-off mark are hereby invited to apply for the post UTME form.

The minimum cut off mark is currently pegged at 200 for all departments with departmental cut off mark to be used later for all admissions.

Candidates are however advised that the management of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has not appointed any third party or any agent for registration of the OAU post 2020 UTME form, all applications including payments are done online. Candidates are advised to beware of fraudsters parading themselves as an agent of the school, scroll down for contact details of Obafemi Awolowo University admin office.




Below are the requirements for registration for the OAU post UTME 2020 examinations. Both UTME and DE candidates are advised to go through this thoroughly to prevent any glitch during registration.

  1. Only candidates who have chosen OAU as first choice of university in UTME are invited to apply.

If you didn’t chose OAU as your first choice in UTME, you are advised to get the change of institution form and do so.

  1. In addition to the requirement above, only candidates who scored 200 and above in the last UTME are eligible to apply for the screening.
  2. All candidates are required to have at least five (5) credits in O’Level result including English Language and other departmentally required subjects in not more than two (2) sittings.

Candidates should however note that, not all departments accept two (2) sittings.

  1. Except for candidates applying for courses in Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Law, and for the Bachelor of Arts in Education in the Faculty of Education, all other candidates are required to have a minimum of credit in Mathematics or its equivalent.
  2. For Higher School Certificate (HSC), a pass in General paper is acceptable in lieu of credit pass in English Language.
  3. Candidates applying through Direct Entry (DE) should get their transcripts forwarded to the Admission Office, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife for processing.
  4. While candidates can apply with awaiting results during registration for post UTME, but candidates should know that any form with no available O’level results result after screening will not be processed.
  5. After successful application for the Obafemi Awolowo University post UTME screening exercise, mail will be sent to applicants regarding their registration details. Candidates are advised to check their mail inbox regularly and also to ensure they print know where and when they are to write their exam.

There will be no room for mock up exam for candidates who missed their exam.


Below are the processes involved in the application for the OAU post UTME 2020 screening. Candidates are advised to follow the process diligently and also ensure they provide a functional email and phone number during registration.

  1. Visit Obafemi Awolowo University admission portal to begin your registration.

Input your JAMB registration number as your username to begin your registration.

  1. An email should be sent to your inbox for verification, login to your email for verification.
  2. After successful verification, proceed to make payment for the screening exercise through REMITTA.

You can either make payment using the online web payment option or generate RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) for payment in any of the banks in Nigeria.

  1. After successful payment, candidates will be required to login to their portal to do the following:
  2. Upload your O’level results or other result (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, JUPEB, NCE, ND e.t.c.)
  3. Upload your JAMB data e.g score, subject combination, choice of institution and course.
  4. Upload of passport photograph not more than 20KB and in JPG format.
  5. Upload of other requested credentials.
  6. After successful application and verification of uploaded files, a preview page is generated for thorough reviewing before final submission.
  7. After submission, print the screening form.

Note: All candidates are implored to produce correct and accurate information during registration, candidates with false information will be disqualified.

Registration Fee: While the OAU post UTME 2020 screening fee is pegged at N2000, candidates should note that they may be required to pay additional bank charges which can be any amount.

Mode of Test: The screening exercise will definitely be computer based test (CBT) as it were in recent years. Candidates are advised to practice for the OAU screening exercise using any of the online CBT screening apps to practice.

EXAM SLIP PRINTING: Candidates are to note that they are to print the exam slip before going to the examination hall. The exam slip printing will be made available at a later date. Candidates are advised to keep visit the portal to keep updated.

EXAMINATION DAY: On the examination day, candidates are required to bring along with them the following documents which will serve as their pass into the examination hall.

  1. JAMB result notification slip
  2. A copy of the OAU post UTME 2020 registration slip.

SUBJECT COMBINATION: The subject combination for OAU post UTME 2020 examination is same as your four subject’s combination in UTME.
